The Evening department was established in 1967.

The department offers degrees in:

- Computer Science

- Electronics and Microelectronics

- Radio Engineering

- Telecommunications

- Economics

- Management

- Marketing

- Law

After 2 years of fundumental studies in Physics, Mathematics, Economics and Computer Science the students choose their major.

Highly skilled teaching staff and modern technical basis allow implementing modern methods of expert training. The diplomas of Evening department graduates are not different from those given out to full-time students. The curriculum is not different either, as it complies with government standards.

The Evening department is providing second higher education opportunities for graduates of MIET and other higher education institutions and for current students of our university.
