1976 – Graduated from MIET, Department of Physics and Technology, majoring on “Automatic and Electronics”.

1976-1978 – Worked as engineer at the Research Institute of Physical Problems.

1978-1981 – MIET postgraduate student.

1981-1983 – Assistant of the Chair of Microelectronics in MIET.

Since 1983 – Candidate of Physical and Mathematical sciences. Dissertation on "Self-oscillations under the influence of concentrated energy sources on the material", major 01.04.08.

1983-1990 – Senior Researcher, Institute of Metallurgy, USSR Academy of Sciences.

1990-1999 – Head of the Chair of Theoretical and Experimental Physics MIET.

Since 1989 – Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, dissertation on "Self-oscillating processes under the influence of concentrated energy flows on materials", major 01.04.14.

Since 1999 – Head of the Chair of Biomedical Systems MIET.

Member of the international society of Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE).

Editor-in-chief of the journal “BiomedicalEngineering” published by Springer.

Scientific activity

Research interests: biomedical engineering, applied physics.

The author of more than 200 scientific papers. He took part in more than 70 international, all-Union and all-Russian conferences.
