1974-1983 – Postgraduate student, engineer, junior researcher, assistant at MIET.

1984-1987 – Assistant Vice-Rector for Research.

1988-1998 – Vice-Rector for Research at MIET.

1998-2016 – Rector.

Since June 2016 – President of MIET.

Laureate of Russian Federation Government Prize in Science and Technology (twice), received a Medal of Honor, Medal of Friendship and other medals.

2016 – Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the Department of Nanotechnology and Information Technology.

Scientific activity

Research interests: micro- and nanoelectronics, micro- and nanosystem technology, nanotechnology.

Head of a scientific school at MIET.

Member of the editorial boards of five scientific and technical journals.

Author of more than 250 scientific papers, 5 monographs, 20 copyright certificates and patents.
