MIET has become one of the best Universities of engineering and technology in the world

The British edition of Times Higher Education has published an annual subject rating, one of the three most influential global university rankings. In the area of "Engineering and Technology" MIET is in the group of 801+ and occupies the 20th position among Russian universities. The published part of the Engineering and technology ranking includes 903 educational institutions in the world.

Thus the achievements and competencies of our university in the field of engineering and technology were again recognized at the world level. This year MIET also entered the first 20 Russian universities in THE University Ranking of Eurasia Nations.

THE ranking is based on the analysis of the universities activities and on a global expert survey of the academic community and employers. Participants were evaluated by the level of teaching, the quality of research activities and the volume of scientific works citations, the involvement of the university in innovation processes and global research as well as other indicators.
