MIET has improved its position in the world ranking of universities (THE)

According to the organizing committee of the world's leading rating agency Times Higher Education MIET has again entered the ranking of the best universities in emerging market economies! In 2021 our university has taken the level of 201-250 compared to the 351+ position, which MIET held last time. The ranking includes 606 universities from 54 countries of the world.

MIET shares the 16th place together with the Ural Federal University among the higher educational institutions of Russia. Totally 48 Russian universities were included in the rating. In the previous ranking MIET was ranked 26th out of 35 national educational institutions.

The core estimation criteria are the level of teaching, research, quality of education and international perspectives. In addition, the ratio of the number of students per teacher, the ratio of teachers with a doctoral degree in relation to the total number of teaching staff, the proportion of international students, the level of citation, the number of developments and other criteria are assessed.
