MIET took part in the "Extreme Robotics 2023" conference
The staff of the Center for Collective Use "Microsystem Technology and Electronic Component Base", a structural division of MIET, took part in the 34th International Scientific and Technical Conference "Extreme Robotics 2023". The event was held on November 23-24 in St. Petersburg. The organizer was the Russian State Scientific Center for Robotics and Technical Cybernetics.
The conference covered a wide range of issues: from creation to practical application of existing robotic systems in extreme conditions and emergency situations, including the fight against terrorism, firefighting, solving defense tasks, as well as tasks related to space and ocean exploration, medicine and nuclear energy.
"Microsystem Technology and Electronic Component Base" work is centered around the development and creation of a new element base for nano- and microsystem technology, including innovative products based on a new element base. During the conference, participants from MIET presented the following topics: "Miniature thermal pressure sensor based on thermal gas convection for precision altitude measurement in manned aircraft", speaker Gleb Demin, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Head of the MIET's research laboratory "Research of nano- and Microsystem technology products". Section "Unmanned aircraft systems"
"Design optimization of a transparent X-ray template based on two-layer thin-film membranes for X-ray nanolithography tasks," speaker Gleb Demin. Section "Ground robotics"
"Magnetic MEMS micro-mirror for spatial modulation of light, functioning due to the action of the Lorentz force," speaker Ilya Evsikov, engineer. Section "Ground robotics".
The authors' articles on their reports were included in the compendium of the conference. During the conference, participants established contacts with organizations interested in cooperation in research on the declared topics.
