XIX International Olympiad in Microelectronics
On April 26, MIET hosted the 1st round of the XIX International Olympiad in Microelectronics, which was attended by 24 students. Round 1 was in a test format. Students were offered 26 assignments in the following areas:
Design and testing of digital IC (Digital IC Design and Test);
Design and testing of analog circuits and circuits with mixed signals (Analog and Mixed Signal IC Design and Test);
Semiconductor Devices and Technology;
Mathematical and Algorithmic problems in CAD (Mathematical and Algorithmic Issues of EDA).
The winners of the 1st round:
Pavel Verevkin (first-year master's student from Electronics and Nanoelectronics);
Oleg Vybornov (third-year bachelor student from Electronics and Nanoelectronics).
They will take part in the 2nd round, which will be held in Armenia, Yerevan.
