MIET strengthens rating positions

MIET entered the top of the best universities in the RUR World University Rankings: among Russian universities, MIET is the 27th, and the 701st in the world ranking. Since last year, the university has won back 103 positions – in last year's MIET ranking it was on the 804th place among higher education institutions around the world.

The RUR World University Rankings assesses performances of more than 1,200 leading higher education institutions in the world by 20 indicators grouped into 4 key areas of university activity: teaching, research, international activities and financial stability. The rating includes 131 Russian universities.

MIET also took the 8th position in the top universities of Russia in terms of salaries of graduates working in IT. The study was published by the "Yakov and Partners" consulting company. According to them, the average salary of MIET graduates in IT in 2019 amounted to 67 thousand rubles a year after graduation (i.e. in 2020) and 168 thousand rubles 3 years after graduation (i.e. in 2022). Our university has entered the top 15 universities providing the strongest career start in terms of income of IT jobs.
