MIET at Techprom‑2026 Forum
On August 26, the 13th International Forum for Technological Development "Techprom‑2026" opened in Novosibirsk. This year's theme is "Russian Science – the Foundation of Technological Leadership". The forum brings together representatives from science, education, industry, business and development institutions.
MIET is taking part in the forum's business programme, presenting the latest results of its research. The exhibition brings together developments from various MIET departments, including youth laboratories, demonstrating the university's broad range of competences in microelectronics, photonics, electronic components, and high‑tech instrument engineering.
Among the exhibits are samples of flexible electronics, microchips, and a line of domestic microcontrollers based on the open RISC‑V architecture. A separate section features projects by student teams developed using the MPW service, which enables the creation of custom chip prototypes.
A special place in the exhibition belongs to the developments of the Institute of Biomedical Systems. Visitors can explore solutions for modern medicine and biotechnologies, including innovations in medical electronics, diagnostics, health monitoring and next‑generation implantable systems. The exhibits demonstrate the potential of microelectronic and sensor technologies for addressing current healthcare challenges.
