MIET joined the the best universities group of emerging European and Central Asia countries according to QS

British company QS Quacquarelli Symonds and "Russia Today" presented the Russian version of QS University Ranking: Emerging Europe and Central Asia 2016/17.
Universities of different specialization as well as classical universities took part in it. MIET was ranked 141-150.
The ranking takes 9 criteria into account: the academic reputation, the reputation among employers, the academic staff and students ratio, the percentage of foreign teachers and students, the academic staff publication activity, the publications citation rate, the percentage of employees with post-graduate degrees, the internet resources efficiency.
Altogether universities of 21 countries entered top 200.
