1. INRODUCTION

The educational program is aimed at training qualified specialists who are able to create, modify, implement information systems, as well as manage automation projects for organizational management and business processes in organizations of various ownership forms.

Graduates of the program can implement all the stages of creating an information system for the customer: from clarifying the organization needs to putting the developed information system into commercial operation and subsequent maintenance, as well as providing timely assistance in its replacement or decommissioning.

2. MISSION AND OBJECTIVES OF THE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM

2.1. Mission of the educational program

Development and self-development of a holistic personality, training a world-class professional for working in the field of information systems and technologies.

2.2. Objectives of the educational program

Training highly qualified personnel for the enterprises, who are able to implement the stages of creating automated corporate information systems for the customer from identifying the organization needs to putting the information system into commercial operation, as well as owning methods and technologies for project management of work.

Duration of study – 2 years

Performing practice-oriented tasks in project teams.

Requirements for the applicant

Diploma of higher education at any level. Other requirements are established by the Rules for admission to the MIET for a particular academic year.

4. CHARACTERISTIC OF PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY OF GRADUATES OF THE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM

4.1. Area of professional activities

06 Communication, information and communication technologies (in the field of electronic means design, development, production and operation).

40 Cross-cutting types of professional activity in industry (in the field of scientific management of research and development in the field of computer science and computer technology).

4.2. Types of professional tasks and tasks of professional activity

Types of graduates' professional tasks:

- design

- scientific-research

Tasks of graduates' professional activity:

Modeling and design of applied and information processes based on modern technologies.

Development of computerization projects for enterprises and organizations.

Conducting research in the field of creating information systems.

4.3. Objects of graduates' professional activity

Modeling of applied and information processes and management of analytical work in the field of creating information systems.

Management of work on development, implementation, maintenance and modification of information systems in applied areas.

4.4. Planned results of mastering the educational program

As a result of mastering the program, the following competencies should be formed at the graduate:

Universal competencies (UC):

UC-1 Ability to carry out a critical analysis of problem situations based on a systematic approach, develop an action strategy.

UC-2 Ability to manage a project at all stages of its life cycle.

UC-3 Ability to organize and manage the work of the team, developing a team strategy to achieve the goal.

UC-4 Ability to apply modern communication technologies, including in a foreign language (s), for academic and professional interaction.

UC-5 Ability to analyze and take into account the diversity of cultures in the process of intercultural interaction.

UC-6 Ability to determine and implement the priorities of their own activities and ways to improve them on the basis of self-esteem.

General professional competencies (GPC):

GPC-1. Ability to acquire, develop and apply independently mathematical, natural science, socio-economic and professional knowledge to solve non-standard problems, including in a new or unfamiliar environment and in an interdisciplinary context;

GPC-2. Ability to develop software, including using modern intelligent technologies, to solve professional problems;

GPC-3. Ability to analyze professional information, highlight the most important things in it, to structure it, design and present in the form of analytical reviews with reasonable conclusions and recommendations;

GPC-4. Ability to put into practice new scientific principles and research methods;

GPC-5. Ability to develop and upgrade software and hardware for information and automated systems;

GPC-6. Ability to research contemporary problems and methods of applied informatics and the development of the information society;

GPC-7. Ability to use methods of scientific research and mathematical modeling in the field of design and management of information systems;

GPC-8. Ability to manage software and project development effectively.

Professional competences (PC)

PC-1. Ability to analyze and apply risk management methods and tools in information system development projects.

PC-2. Ability to reengineer enterprise business processes using modern methods and approaches and existing instrumental tools.

PC-3. Ability to design the information system architecture of enterprises and organizations in applied area.

PC-4. Ability to design information processes and systems using innovative instrumental tools.

PC-5. Ability to apply modern methods and tools of applied informatics for business processes automation and informational support as well as information system development.

PC-6. Ability to organize quality criteria development and their maintenance methods.

PC-7. Ability to perform work of collecting, processing and analyzing information and research results.

State final certification: preparation for the defense procedure and defense of the final qualification work (master's theses).
